Watertwo basics

What does Watertwo do?

Watertwo is a manually operated diverter fitted to suitable bath or shower waste pipework. It lets you choose whether water continues to the normal drain or is directed through an outlet towards the garden.

Does it need electricity?

No. The Watertwo valve is operated mechanically using pull cords, so the diverter itself does not require electricity, batteries or an app.

Which colours are available?

The valve is offered in black, white and grey. Current stock and variant availability are shown in the Ecwid store.

What is included?

The principal product is the Watertwo diverter valve. Installation accessories and bundle contents can vary, so check the exact Ecwid product description before purchasing.

Compatibility

Fitting and installation

What pipe size does Watertwo fit?

The current fitting instructions specify suitable 40mm ABS waste pipe. Confirm both the outside diameter and pipe material before cutting or ordering.

Can I install it myself?

The product is designed as a practical installation, but it involves identifying and cutting waste pipe, safe work at height, secure fixing and correct jointing. Read the full installation guide first and seek competent help if you are not confident.

Does the valve have to be glued permanently?

PVC cement creates a permanent joint. Watertwo also offers connector options intended to avoid a permanently glued installation. Confirm compatibility and follow the instructions supplied with the method you purchase.

What outlet hose is required?

The PDF fitting instructions specify a hose with a 16mm internal diameter and 21mm external diameter, secured to the outlet with a stainless-steel jubilee clip.

What if I am not sure it will fit?

Contact Watertwo before cutting anything. Include the pipe diameter, pipe material, available space and a clear description of where the bath or shower waste exits the property.

Responsible use

Greywater and the garden

What is greywater?

Greywater is household wastewater that has not come from toilets. On this site, the focus is suitable bath and shower water intended for responsible garden reuse.

Can all bath and shower water be reused?

No. What the water contains, where it will be used and how long it will be stored all matter. Use the normal drain route whenever soaps, cleaning products, hygiene considerations, plant sensitivity or current restrictions make reuse unsuitable.

Can greywater be stored?

Greywater quality changes during storage. Suitable water should generally be reused promptly and should never be treated as drinking water. More detailed responsible-use guidance will be added to the new site.

Can I send it to a water butt or irrigation system?

Watertwo can direct water towards a water butt or suitable irrigation arrangement. The complete setup must account for flow, hose routing, storage limitations, hygiene and appropriate garden use.
